Open your phone’s camera and scan the QR code for your device

Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, etc
If you are unable to scan the QR code, you can go directly to the App Store (iPhone) or Play Store (Android), search for ‘Microsoft Authenticator’ and download from there.
Be sure the app is published by Microsoft and has the following icon:
